Say Cheese.

A few months ago my friend Anna and I were talking about our passion for photography and how we wanted so badly to buy a fancy camera and learn how to shoot professional photos as a hobby. Lucky for us, my obsession with Groupon continued to pay off as this photography academy I had my eye on had a major discount on a one-day bootcamp. What did we do? Yes, we bought the groupon ... without actually owning DSLRs. However - this looming groupon sitting in our inboxes only forced us to buy matching Canon DSLRs a few months later.

As a beginner (even though secretly I think I'm pretty good), the class was really great and I actually learned what all the buttons meant. Today I was able to turn the knob on my canon to "AV" ... no more auto! The instructor was a cute little Irish man, not to mention hilarious. And it just wouldn't have been right if he hadn't referenced the word "drink" at least eight times. He somehow worked it in, hehe.

If you are at all interested in learning DSLR basics, the beginner one-day boot camp is held at "Chicago Photography Academy" and taught by William Benson.

Now, on to Milwaukee for *hopefully* the last day of house-hunting! Send us some good vibes.
