Where's the Beef?
When I was at Mindshare I worked on mostly large, national accounts including BP, Unilever and Motorola to name a few. In moving to Milwaukee and working at Bader-Rutter, I will be working on much smaller (yet not less important!) accounts, primarily business-to-business.
One of these accounts covers animal health. Nope, I don't handle dogs or cats. I handle cattle and swine. Quite a change of pace, I'd say! So what did I learn today? Well, did you know that there is a calf vaccine for E.Coli? Respiratory health? Or even diarrhea? Sorry, I promise not to mention that ever again.
Although it's so odd, in only two days I have already learned so much more than I thought I'd ever know about cattle. I'm curious how much more conscientious I might become when grocery shopping for beef. And I'm sure I'll bother you all about it at some point as well. Buy local!
I'd say I've officially moved back to Wisconsin, wouldn't you? =)
